THE Henry Moran Foundation is organising a ‘Kids Futsal Cup’ this summer in various SM Malls all over the country including here in Cagayan de Oro City.
THMF CEO Danny Moran in meeting with local organisers said that winners in tournaments in Manila, Cebu city, Bacolod city, Davao city and Cagayan de Oro city will qualify for the national tournaments set on May 30-31 at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong city.
The ‘Kids Futsal Cup’ will be for Boys and Girls 10U (Born 2010 and younger), and Boys and Girls 8U Born 2012 and younger.)
The national champion teams in the Boy 10U and Girls 10U will be invited by the Dutch Football Association to play for Friendship Games in the Netherlands sometime in October or November.
The Cagayan de Oro leg will be held sometime in April. Organisers are urging teams who would like to join the competition to prepare their teams.
The official venue and the exact dates of the competition will be announced soon.
The competition is limited to only 10 teams per category. Teams who would like to join are advised to prepare and register early.
Registration fee is P1,000 per team. Teams who would like to register early can pay through The Henry V. Moran Foundation Inc. BPI savings account number 2251-0008-86.
After depositing the entry fee please take a photo of the deposit form and the registration form and email them to coordthehenrymoranfoundation@gmail.com. Confirmation receipt will be emailed back and official receipt will be prepared. (l.biantan@gmail.com)
