COACHES, AND OFFICIALS DURING LAST FRIDAY NIGHT’S DRAWING OF LOTS AT THE BULUA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.
TOP teams from Northern Mindanao have signed up to compete in the PIA-Bulua Futsal Fiesta Festival which is set on Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 2019) at the Bulua National High School in Bulua Cagayn de Oro City Misamis Oriental.
Led by Cagayan de Oro Division meet champion St. Mary’s School of Macasandig-Higala FC, the Girls 17 category have a total of 14 teams.
Other competing teams are Iligan Medical College, Lady Crusaders, Bulua Strikers FC, Golden Friendship FC, D’ Millers of Bukidnon FC, Initao FC, Liceo University Titans, Stonefield FC-Damas Ozamis, MOGHS Cavaliers, Sreamers FC of Iligan, Voltz FC-Iligan, Ginggoog A and Gingoog B.
In the Women’s Open category, teams joining are Iligan Medical Center, Rosevale School FC, Iligan City Football Club, Higala FC, Bulua Strikers, Liceo University Titans, Stonefield FC-Damas Ozamis and Lady Crusaders.
Entered in the Girls 14 category are Higala FC, Bulua Strikers FC, Golden Friendship FC, Iligan Medical Center College, and Screamers FC of Iligan while in the Girls 12 category teams entered are Lumbia Raptors FC, Bulua Strikers FC, Georgia Academy, and Golden Friendship FC.
Pinay In Action executive director Ayra Malabayabas was present during the drawing of lots on Friday night at the Bulua High School.
The tournament will start at exactly 730 a.m. Opening ceremony will be at 10 a.m. with the officials from Bulua SK and from Pinay In Action delivering the opening messages. They will also do the ceremonial kickoff. (l.biantan@gmail.com)
