Ceres-Negros FC are 4 wins away from their 3rd title on the bounce after a narrow 2-0 victory on the road against Stallion Laguna FC today.
The first 45 minutes saw Stallion imposing their will in keeping Ceres at bay, and narrowly getting on the board after a Janjan Melliza shot kissed the post after going halfway through the line. Tenacious Busmen defence saw the sides however knotted at the interval.
The second half proved to be different however, as a quick 1-2 punch by Bienvenido Marañon in the 52nd minute and Robert Lopez Mendy 60 seconds later proved to be the winning combination.
