TEAM CAPTAIN DONN MESSI EBUñA FIRES TWO GOALS TO LEAD NMRAA TO THE Q-FINALS
THE Northern Mindanao Stars Elementary Boys booters assured themselves of a quarter finals seat in the Palarong Pambansa football tournament when they blanked Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) 3-0, at the University of the Philippines field in Mental, Davao City.

Team captain Donn Messi Ebuña of Corpus Christi School scored two goals, one each in the every half to stop the boys from CAR and moved to the top of Group D with three victories.
They need to win against SSoccsksargen’s ((South Cotabato, Cotabato Province, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos) Region Athletic Association (SRAA) in their last elimination round assignment to insure their dominance of their group and play the second best team in Group A.
The goals were Ebuña’s second and third in the competition. He also scored the opening goal in their match against EVRAA Friday night.
Thirdy Amores of Bukidnon opened the scoring for the NMRAA boys while Ebuña added another one for a 2-0 first half advantage. Ebuña then scored his second goal in the second half to insure their third win.
