With just a few months remaining into the athletic calendar of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), they have now released the official schedule of the first round of the UAAP Season 81 Men’s and women’s football tournament.
The football festivities for the UAAP will kick off on the 17th of February 2019, where University of the East Red Warriors faces season 79 champions Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles at 9 A.M. and on the second game, season 80 finalists University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers will face Adamson University Soaring Falcons at 3 P.M. Both games will be played at the FEU-Fern Diliman pitch.
On the other hand, the women’s competition will commence on the 2nd of March 2019. The women of the UAAP football community will be playing at the new Circulo Verde football pitch located at Calle Industria in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
The first game for the women’s team will be between Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws and the Ateneo Lady Eagles at 1 P.M., while season 80 finalists UST Growling Tigresses face the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons.
