One of the most successful clubs in Philippine Football history has fallen down hard in recent times with allegations of unpaid wages and unprofessionalism tarnishing the club’s reputation.
Last January 30, former Global player Milan Nikolic released a statement in his social media account with allegations of months of unpaid wages and very unprofessional behavior from team owner Mark Jarvis.
Said allegations are alarming, specially the part where Global is accused of dodging or completely ignoring FIFPro calling their attention. FIFPro is the worldwide governing body for the rights of all Professional footballers. If these allegations are true, this could be troublesome not just for Global, but for the PFF, PPL and Philippine football as a whole.

Update:
A Global FC representative has told this writer that moves are being made to shed light into these issues. One thing the representative has allowed this writer to say is that all unpaid wages will be taken care of starting next week. Payments will be made over several transactions.
Global FC will issue a press statement in the coming days to address the fans.
