FOUR TEAMS FROM REGION 7 ARE ENTERED IN THE THREE DAY TOURNAMENT
All is set in the Department of Education Palaro football bubble mini tournament dubbed as Lapulapu Cup which will fire off Tuesday (May 4, 2022) at the Cebu City Sports Center Cebu City.
Top Cebu teams Ateneo de Cebu of Mandaue City, Don Bosco Technology College, Abellana National School, and Don Bosco Boys Home-Liloan National High School are competing in the single round robin competition organised by DepEd Region 7 under Regional Director Salustiano T. Gimenez, Regional Sports Officer Tomas Pastor and supervised by Palaro football manager Rufino Arellano.
The tournament is also supported by Cebu City local government under mayor Mike Rama, and the Central Visayas Regional Football Association (CVRFA) president Rodney Orale.
Other members of the organiser include Match assessor Dennis A. Estaniel, match commissioner Francis Ramirez, coordinator Archie Reyes, and secretary Dave Intong.
