CAGAYAN DE ORO coach Dhon Lazo is confident that his girls will put up a good fight when they debut Monday (Aug. 26) against Naga City in the Batang Pinoy U 15 National Championships in Punta Princesa City Palawan.
“The ball is round and as long as our opponents has the same age as the girls we will give them a good fight,’’ Coach Dhon said right after the opening ceremony of the week long competitions organised by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) find young talents for the national team.
The CdO U15 Girls are in Group B with powerhouse San Carlos City Negros Occidental, Naga City of Camarines Sur, Dasmarinas in Cavite and host Puerto Princesa. Teams in Group A are Davao City, Zamboanga City, Mandaluyong City and Palawan.
