LAST YEAR’S ABOITIZ CUP 11-A-SIDE CHAMPIONS OF CEBU CITY LEYLAM FC ARE EARLY FAVES IN THE COMING CERES CUP 7-ASIDE FOOTBALL FESTIVAL.
CEBU’S semi professional club Leylam FC will field two teams in the Ceres 7-A-Side Footballe Festival which is set on Saturday and Sunday at the Sta. Maria field in Talisay and the North Fields Ayala in Bacolod, Negros Occidental.
The two teams of coach Oliver ‘Bing-Bing’ Colina and team owner Ugur Tasci will be heavily favoured in the tournament organised by the country’s top professional club Ceres-Negros Football Club as they will compete with their foreign players.

“The two teams are made up of the team which won the Aboitiz Cup Men’s Open 11-Aside title in Cebu last year, and countless of 7-Aside competitions this year,’’ Colina said.
He will bring along his African players Emmanuel Ekondayu, Pogba Shina, Famous Ene, Kore Kore, and Pinto Kabulo.
“They are not yet professional players but students from various universities in Cebu City,’’ he added.
Leylam FC team A are in group D with Dumaguete-Katilaw FC, City of Kabankalan FC, Carabao FC and Guinevere FC while Leylam FC team B are with UNO-R MF team A, Tanjay FC Ting Passing, Barbados FC team B, and EVSU FC.
