One of the oldest amateur football clubs in the region recently started their 2019 Football Clinic yesterday.
Tondo FC continues to develop and spread the football culture that started in the early 60’s. The training program aims to develop more football talent. Helping out the youth to learn different life skills using football as a tool for social change.

T- teamwork
H- Humility.
The program is handled by Coach Mark Dennis Balbin along with players who represent Tondo FC in the 7’s Football League and other pocket tournaments in the region.
When asked what their mission was in conducting this program, here’s what coach Dennis had to say.
“Football is one way to improve the lives of this children who are experiencing a challenging life around Tondo. Our mission is to change the image of Tondo 1 kick and 1 kid at a time. When you talk about Tondo we wanted to remove the stereotype negative thinking about the community. We want them 1 day that they will see Tondo in a positive way.”
