Azkalroos Football Academy to Hold Manila Tour

The Azkalroos Football Academy is pleased & excited to announce that the Academy is bringing a Youth Team on a Football Tour of Manila.

The Tour commences on Sunday January 20, and concludes on Tuesday January 29, 2019.
The aim of the Azkalroos is to identify & develop all Aussie Filipino footballers in Australia.
Identified players are bought together for training & to play in formal matches.

The combination of planned training sessions and an overseas tour will allow each player to improve their footballing skills & their playing profile, by expressing their talents, to the various academies, schools and youth teams who make up the Filipino youth football scene.

Andrew Fletcher, Co-founder of Azkalroos Football Academy will lead the Tour.
The Academy has previously taken Aussie Filipinos to the Philippines with many players successfully gaining professional contracts with the various UFL (United Football League) & PFL (Philippines Football League) teams.

In addition, several players have also made the Azkals U21, U23 and the Senior Azkals squads.
Andrew has also developed youth football in the Filipino Provinces.

In the lead up to the Tour the Azkalroos were unfortunate to lose four players due to injuries & other mishaps.

And so a feature of the Tour will be The Azkalroos invitation to two young footballers from Tarlac to join the Tour as members of the Azkalroos Football Squad.

The Academy will also invite two additional players to join their group to join for various games.

The intention of the Tour & the Additional Players Plan is to create goodwill, friendship & development for all players in a friendly game format.
