Amani future with Global-Cebu bleak

THE future for Azkals center back Amani Aguinaldo with Cebu-Global is definitely bleak as he is just waiting for his release papers from the club before he could sign up for another club.
A reliable source from inside Aguinaldo’s camp said today that Amani has asked for his release from Global but did not reveal which team he is joining next.
Cebu-Global new owner Alvin Carranza recently confirmed that Ceres-Negros FC and Davao Aguilas FC have showed interest and put up their bid to sign Aguinaldo. However, he said that Global really wants to re-sign Amani and has put an offer on the table after his contract expired last December 31.
Despite of being on sick bay with a knee injury since October, the 22-year-old Amani remains as big asset for any team who could sign him.
So, the battle for Amani’s signature will be between Ceres-Negros and Davao. Whoever puts the best deal on the table gets his signature. Whoever gets his signature will greatly benefit from his all around skills at the back. The Amani saga continues. ABANGAN…(l.biantan@gmail.com)
